For arrival transfers your driver will meet you in the KEF airport arrival hall with your name on a sign. For departure transfers your driver will meet you at your accommodation. You will head to the Blue Lagoon where your can enjoy 2 hours in the lagoon. Please note that the tour does not include the admission tickets to the Blue Lagoon, but can be added to your booking during the checkout. While you relax in the lagoon your driver will wait with your luggage at the Blue Lagoon parking lot.
The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is one of the most popular attractions in Iceland. The lagoon flows in a lava field. The warm water is rich of silica minerals. Bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help people suffering from skin diseases. The water temperature in the bathing area of the lagoon averages 37-39 °C. The lagoon is fed by the water output from Svartsengi, a nearby geothermal power plant. The water is fed into the lagoon for recreational and medicinal bathing.
The Blue Lagoon is situated approximately 13 km from the Keflavik International Airport and 39 km from the capital city of Reykjavik. That is a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 45 minute drive from Reykjavik.
